On January 1, 2013 the Borough of New Milford swore in its 2013 Fire Department Officers at Fire Company No. 1. A veteran of almost forty years Chief Craig J. Maiocchi was again elected as Chief of the Department. This is his fourth term as Department Chief. Other officers sworn in were Assistant Chief Jeremiah Nolan, Deputy Chief David Stormer, Company No. 1 Captain Ross Rhein, Company No. 2 Captain Joseph McNulty III, Company No. 1 Lieutenant John Stormer and Company No. 2 Lieutenant John Siccardi. Also elected to office for 2013 were Company No. 1 President Joseph Armbruster and Company No. 2 President Robert Ryan.
