At approximately 9:00 pm on the 10th, New Milford Fire units along with New Milford Police and the New Milford Volunteer Ambulance Corps were requested to Boulevard and Monmouth for a motor vehicle accident with a rollover. Upon arrival of fire units the patient had extricated herself with the assistance of a homeowner nearby. Units secured the vehicle and disconnected the battery. New Milford Fire units operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes. The driver of the vehicle, though not injured, had struck a parked vehicle when checking her phone. This is a reminder to not text and drive.
